The lamp consists of a maintenance-free housed in to a battery container having moulded in belt-loops & air tight Lid marked with positive (+) & negative (-) output terminals. The main terminals are suitably protected by a moulded Top-cover with special locking arrangements. The Top-cover is assembled with a flexible Cable at one end and the other end of the cable is housed into a compact Head-piece unit provided with a Cap hook, a Rotary switch, a highly polished deep parabolic metal Reflector fitted with power, 110 lumens of which the basic life is 50,000 hours which is finally protected with a glass-disc sealed by a suitable Lese-ring & locked with a special pin to avoid unauthorized tampering. The hand cap light unit is re-chargeable from any conventional type of charging-racks or by single point charger unit also through its head-piece unit by conventional system. The rated voltage of the charger to be maintained within 4 volts preferably. Finally the Cap Light is designed to meet all the required facilities for self-service operation.
